I remember sometime last year Meltzer said they weren't releasing guys because they didn't want them doing shoot interviews. Ryder seems like the perfect candidate for someone that would immediately do a bitter, creative-exposing shoot, so they keep him around.

He'll do the shoot if he's fired, but he's probably not going to quit his high-paid jobber job for the thousand bucks and a case of Bud Light Limes* he'd get for doing a shoot interview. Even as a jobber, Zack is still making more money than 85% per cent of people who are in the wrestling business. *I have no idea what shoot interview people are paid, but there's no way it's enough to justify leaving a WWE contract.

They were considering releasing expensive announcers last month but didn't want them to jump to TNA.

King of Trios was this weekend and one of the teams was Archibald Peck and 3.0. Unfortunately when 3.0 popped up on Steen's Weekend Escapades, Matthews alluded to thinking he doesn't think ladies' wrestlers are worth a drat. He also said that he doesn't understand the hate for Nickelback, and figures everybody must be jumping on the hate bandwagon, because somebody must be buying their records. Shane Matthews is not a smart man, is what I'm saying.

Last year during SHIMMER at Wrestlecon, LuFisto did a moonsault from the top rope to the floor and missed everyone and busted up her kneecap when she landed on the floor. After that, Shane Matthews went on Twitter and made fun of her multiple times. He also makes fun of them having wishlists and doing custom matches. So, yeah, he's kind of a dick on Twitter, but seemingly a nice guy in person. I can't boo the guy. When I asked him about the booing on Saturday, he basically told me "I only know how to be me". So, I guess he doesn't really care about the booing at all.

If I'm not mistaken Mick Foley talked to Zack Ryder who was bitching about his direction, and Mick asked him if he's actually talked to Vince about it and he said no. So he's either confident Vince is going to pull a JTG where he'll fire him the moment he remembers he exists, or he's just an idiot.
