It's pretty unlikely. The Banshee has just enough changes that it wouldn't be very cost-effective to make it an exclusive. PG FA Unicorn, on the other hand, is a toss-up. All Bandai really needs to make is the backpack, and maybe the hyper beam javelins. Everything else can be recycled. At the same time, though, it's a popular enough design that it might be worth general release.

I'm hoping PG Unicorn's "third mode" isn't just a polite euphemism for what happens when it collapses under its own weight and falls off the display shelf.

Let's see, the average length of an O'Neill Island 3 type space colony is about 20 miles long. One mile is 5280 feet. So a 1/144 scale model of a space colony would be around 733'4" or simply 8,800 inches (22352 cm for you metric types out there).

It looks good, but it'd look better if you focused your camera a little more. Consider buying a lamp! I guess PG Unicorn is going to be the only big announcement. I mean I'm sure one of my friends is freaking out that RD Shining finally got greenlit, but nothing really catches my eye. Hell RD V-Dash is worse than the previous RD V + V-Dash parts, it's missing the VSRBs. Maybe I will just get the MG. Someday, long in the future.

That is, quite literally, the best focus I can get on it, since all I have is a lovely PS Vita camera. I'll see if I can't borrow a friend's DSLR for a better shot later.

PG Unicorn is a pretty huge deal all by itself, right? Too ridiculous to seriously consider yet the obvious, inevitable choice. The first new PG in four years. An engineering challenge to top them all. It's hard to imagine anything bigger. It's a somewhat bizarre intro though. A poster and a flyer and nothing else. Almost feels like this thing missed its own coming-out party.

I reckon its because they can not allow it to be shown as a crooked prototype like some other models, that could be hype killing. The PG line has had two weak releases in a row now, the Unicorn is a very high selling design, they need to get it right. Both in execution and marketing. At least, that's what my (useless) degree would say I had to do.

I too remember what the Sazabi ver.Ka prototypes looked like. Won't matter in the end, the hype for this beast is going to make Neo Zeong look like a practice round. Open question: what exactly is wrong with the PG 00-R? My interest may or may not be purely academic.

I don't own either myself but from what I have seen and heard the MG is pretty much more/equally detailed, more stable, and much much less weight issues with the limbs and binders.

Also, the MG has better poseability and detail, along with the accessories being better. Oh, and if he ever gets the MG Turn X he can pose them together without the proportions looking way off.

The detail on the HG is fantastic (color separation is the only issue, really), though, and doesn't look all that different from the MG. It's also pretty poseable as well. And besides, you can pose it with the 1/144 NG Kapool, which is the most important part.
