Trying to finalize the cover art at the moment. I've got a buddy who is a pretty great artist, so he's going to let us use one of his pieces for the cover. Then the fun task of trying to shop it around to some small labels. Dan, the sax player, is just so loving... legit. Hardcore jazz player from NY, theory knowledge coming out of his ears, but tons of soul too. Really excited we were able to bring him onboard. I'm slowly but surely peer-pressuring him into buying an EWI so we can get some funky synth-horn action going as well. Ultimately we'd like to add a keys player to the group as well. http://soundcloud.com/anders_dahlheim/ (Jazz/experimental stuff) My soundcloud page is right now just a few songs from a concert I did as a part of my music degree. Although the recording is not the best, I'm pretty happy with some of the arrangements and compositions. Hopefully someday I will get a better pickup for my upright bass.

A friend of mine introduced me to FL Studios a few years ago. Instead of looking over tutorials and actually figuring out how the program works, I decided to blindly jump in head first. https://soundcloud.com/code-gremlin I don't really know what to categorize it as, it's just electronic I guess. Not too many songs yet, but they're some of the longer and better ones I've made so far.

I like the cover of AM 180 and Xal. You have a cool sci-fi atmospheric sound, really diggin. FLStudio is fun, been using it since version 6. There is a lot you can do with this DAW. I do all my recording with it.

Most of them started because I was loving around with making a game in RPGMaker and I wanted some original music to go with it, then just went with it.

https://soundcloud.com/jacob-staudt/ I mostly use soundcloud as a vehicle to push ideas around with a buddy of mine. I bought a kick rear end guitar and said I'd record something original every day. https://soundcloud.com/jacob-staudt/melodeity I recorded this today. Was listening to some annihilator and felt super inspired and as a result I've got one of my favorite melodies I've ever written! All my sound is gonna be raw though. It's much easier to just record the idea with an iPhone and then go back later and assemble ideas I like into more cohesive pieces like this one : https://soundcloud.com/jacob-staudt/dadhouse

https://soundcloud.com/colintfox This is mostly music for a soundtrack for a friend's movie, a documentary about a wine region. Mostly folk/acoustic guitar with strange keyboard sounds. I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to soundtracks. It's fascinating to think of making music in terms of a film, but whatever I make tends to come out however it wants to. I still really like it however. The songs "HONEY," "JUICE," "All day" and "Promised land" will give some idea of what I've done. I've done several versions of some songs and cross pollinated musical ideas between different songs, with some good results. So far the most interesting thing about this project has been exploring the same musical idea in many forms and through different moods, and connecting very different songs together through shared pieces. It was all supposed to be connected, and I think a fair amount of it still is, and hopefully the way my friend edits everything together will get that across. Yeah, I hate how many slightly different versions of the layout there are depending on what you click. Not to mention the little small transport that is on the bottom is only sort of helpful. Here's mine. I mess around with vintage synth gear (see profile pic for set up - mostly Roland), and then "master" them in a DAW with as little editing on the computer as possible. Mostly just messing around, but will eventually put together something more serious. The oldest one that lists the gear is the first to use the hardware. Everything before that is on the computer. https://soundcloud.com/fors_yard

My buddies and I used to sit around and listen to music until we decided to buy some instruments and come up with some. That was three years ago. We meet once a week in one of their living rooms and jam on chords we find in an old 60s real book or improv with instrumentals. Nothing is more fun to me than just trying to use my ear and create an atmosphere with others on the fly. My friend's pop is an old guy who used to be in bands so he basically takes control of the drum machine and plays an early 90s Yamaha synth. I play a newer synth and a digital piano. Our friend on guitar has a jazz background but unfortunately for him the rest of us are awful, bawhahaha. I bought a mic and started recording our stuff a few months ago when I remember to. It's all basically one take, so if you like jamming or the creative process I guess check us out! Also some piano improv stuff from me on there. https://soundcloud.com/incredulousdylan/dark-side-of-io pleonasmo posted:Brazilian Jazz, mostly. Loving this one, btw.
