My BONEDRIVE poo poo itself and stopped recognizing anything as playable so I figured I should RMA it now as nothing really comes out until November. By then everyone will be so far ahead of me in Destiny that I can return to the Battlefield for those battlefeels. Has anyone done this with Microsoft? If I shipped it off yesterday, about how long did it take to get it back? Edit - Estimated completion 10/13. Hopefully that's a worst case scenario.

In the UK you can get Microsoft to send a replacement bone straight away as long as you give them a credit card number, when it comes you send your broken one back in the box and if it is really broken they dont charge your card. worked for me when mine stopped reading games, but was fine with films.

Both Microsoft and Sony will bend over backwards to make poo poo like that right because they don't make jack poo poo on the consoles its all about you buying games and movies from them. Which you won't do if using the system is a hassle.

I dunno. Coming from the PC, the attack jet on the xbone seems to be in a really cozy and mostly untouched spot, perhaps mainly because the mobile AA seems to lack a lot of the bite that I'm used to. At the moment, both the stinger and igla can't even remotely be considered a threat to the attack jet, so some minor adjustments are probably in order. I mean, If you get hit by iAA in the first place you already hosed up, but in the rare occasions that it actually happens, it doesn't really matter anyway because it usually just forces you to take an extra 15 second break while you wait for your countermeasures to replenish- and by that time, your health will be back up near 100% anyway. Wading into this again! Take repairs off little birds, remove the retarded disabled spin mechanic that makes it so getting hit by one stinger can stun lock you. Hell, even buff the stinger damage to make it a two hit kill. The reason I bring up the little bird is because it pretty much singlehandedly ruins what little air balance there is in the game. Jets are fine and hardly the threat to ground they were in BF3 since AP effectively shuts down any run an attack jet may make.

They should let every class replace their knife with an infinite ammo stinger that doesn't actually do damage it just makes people waste flares and knock them all over the place because that would be hilarious.

You know, the time I've spent in jets has been mostly shooing away enemy jets. The jet-respawn timer is so fast that by the time I finish killing both enemy jets, I have something like 15 seconds to try and shoot down a helicopter or something that contributes to the team before I have to spend another 2 minutes kiting the same loving pilots into my killzone. Wouldn't it be great if stingers couldn't didn't gently caress helicopters up solo, and the role of helicopter-loving was split more fairly between missile launchers and jets? Like what can a jet actually do in this game? And what role should they have? It may be rose-tinted aviation sunglasses, but I feel like older battlefields and even the Bad Company games really nailed what I wanted in a game like this. I died a little when I read that article where DICE was basically like, "We have no idea why people liked Bad Company." I don't think they actually know what they're doing at all.  I actually played some BF4 for the first time in a while today. It was pretty terrible. Full 3-4 second lag, counter-knifing never worked, teams had poo poo balance. Really terrible time. I played for an hour or so today. Tried to fly, immediately locked onto from 4 directions, peppered by MAA 1km away, hit by 6 missiles at once. Tried to tank, locked onto by javelins, rpgs firing from all angles with recons calmly walking up to deliver sandwiches. Tried LAV, blown up by invisible slams and roving packs of engineers. Tried rocket truck, and was blown up within 5 seconds of entering vehicle.
