If it really was in Surrey, it wouldn't be anywhere near that clean, and also you wouldn't be able to take the picture because someone would have stolen your camera and stabbed you already.

Some crazy-good stuff in this thread. It's been a while (years) since I posted any photos in the Dorkroom and I don't think I've ever posted in this thread. Figured I might as well, since I'm finally back to shooting regularly again after a ridiculously long dry spell lacking any inspiration. It's a nice enough picture in the technical sense, but man it hits every single landscape cliche head on. All it's missing is a barn or waterfall shot through a big stopper.

It's always so hard to get the atmosphere of a walk through the forest on camera. This shot does it.

Cayo Coco, Cuba by Geographic Ecotourist, on Flickr The filter really exaggerated how dark the sky was. It was really dark blue, but with the polarizing filter it got a bit ridiculous.

Yeah that's a bit nuts.. if I don't look at it perfectly straight on on my monitor it's basically black. It'd probably look better if it was all a consistent shade instead of getting darker at the top.. that's easy to fix in post, right?
