The Lancia a family member imported had its issues sorted - the radiator was removed and cored or reubilt and the car is running great now. They're going to register it and start driving the hell out of it.  I posted this previously in the video thread. Idling is not an option though. Protip: hitting the kill switch at high revs on a carby bike then switching it back on (stay in gear the entire time) does the same thing. All that delicious unburnt fuel.

Now I want to fix the power steering leak before winter comes. When talking about racing champions Jack Brabham's achievements in F1 will never be equaled. 3 World Championships in a car designed, built and driven by himself. Engines made by Repco to Jacks design based on a V8 Oldsmobile 215 alloy block beating the best V12's from Europe. Only Bruce McLaren and Dan Gurney (both former team mates) have achieved his record of winning F1 races as a Constructor and Driver. Eventually sold the team to Bernie Ecclestone. A true legend of the sport. He was a hard man from a time when men when real men and women were frightened. He was the first and only man since then to win a F1 championship in his own car.
