I went back and played RE4 and boy I totally forgot about all the QTEs and the Krauser fight. The Krauser fight with the QTE was loving stupid and I seriously hoped they fixed that in the next series. I still have 5 and 6 to play but they both seem like fun.

I only had fun in the Leon campaign; Everything else either was boring poo poo or wasn't Resident Evil. But that's just my opinion.

Well, in Resident Evil 6 they patched in an option that just lets you skip QTEs altogether. I haven't experimented with it. I think that's really cool of Capcom though Speaking of which, add me for Resident Evil 6 playing: http://steamcommunity.com/id/solidsnakesbandana/

Revelations on Normal isn't too tough but Revelations on Infernal is a loving nightmare. "Bullet-sponge" doesn't even begin to describe the final boss. Maximum magnum ammo, each shot using Charge Shot 5. Still standing.

Oh yeah I remember those guys, you fight a ton of them in the sewer area. They weren't really that tough so I must have never got killed by one. I kind of want to replay the game and let myself just get killed by stuff just to see the death animations. I remember doing that for Dead Space at one point.

There were flying enemies that would grab your face and spray acid on it, if you gave them long enough. Leon would fall over and his face would start melting and he'd die. Can't remember if it was an instakill move or if they'd only do it when you were on really low health, though.

They're pathetically easy, drop tons of cash, are only in two areas, and if I remember right you have to be low on health for it to trigger or they just kick off you during the grab so its not something a lot of players saw. Blowing up their nest and drowning in loot always felt great though.

The best death in RE4 is U-3 cutting Leon in half, just because it's so unceremonious. On Pro Mode, if you get hit by U-3's pincer with pretty much anything less than full health, Leon says goodbye to his legs.

Does anyone know of the PS1 version of Resi 2 is any good on the Vita? I'm very aware that some games suffer from a lack of L2 and R2 buttons, and it's been so long since i've played it that I can't remember. I don't want to buy and download it, only to find that it's borderline unplayable is all. Edit: I type good. Rahzmataz fucked around with this message at 09:43 on Oct 1, 2014 |

I'm surprised they haven't done something like this yet -- a Mercenaries DLC pack that allows you to 'play' through all of RE1, only RE4/5/6 style, so you're going full gattle and boulder-fist on every weak rear end zombie, kicking down every locked door, just bullrushing from the start to the labs in under 5 minutes.

I've been playing a lot of Resident Evil 2 again. There's bullshit rookie arrange mode where you start out with infinite ammo, easy, and normal mode. Is there anyway to unlock a hard mode, or an arrange game mode without infinite ammo weapons? I can just not use the stuff you start out with, but the question still stands. E: I think the REmake spoiled me with the unlockable hard mode, One Dangerous Zombie, and invisible enemies. Mogomra fucked around with this message at 14:54 on Oct 4, 2014 |

You have to buy the Dreamcast version. (Possibly the PC version as well.) That one has Nightmare Mode. I'm not sure if there are other differences besides that but basically enemies are a lot faster, take more hits and deal more damage...there might be more of them too, I don't know. The N64 version has a mode where all the ammunition pickups and such get randomized.

Unless of course you mean that your PC should be able to more than handle it at 60fps, in which case I don't know what to tell you.
