How about a Mustang II that definitely has 400 HP? http://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/4690063519.html And I don't really know much about Mustangs, but something makes me think this isn't a legit SVT Cobra: https://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/4690331929.html

Look under the rear end and see if it's solid axle or IRS, most people who fake Cobras won't change to the IRS. Or there are also people who remove the IRS from an actual Cobra because they have half a brain.

I thought they all had Cobras in the grill too but judging by some Googling I may be mistaken.

Tried the 'obvious misspelling' trick on ebay. If you ignore the 'lol V6' in the description, this one might be worth checking out: Sub-$8k 986 Boxster. Old enough that the IMS bearing wasn't an issue and with enough miles that if it had bum cylinder liners, it'd've blown up already. The interior looks really well kept and the non-working convertible top can be put into manual mode in 10 minutes with one screwdriver so long as it's not frame damage that's keeping it from working (unlikely, it's probably a known-wonky $100 sensor). You too can feel like an internet bubble tycoon for small money. televiper fucked around with this message at 19:09 on Oct 4, 2014 |

Yep, lots and lots of jumps. This is what the sport looks like at the pro level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8JUpHV1ePk you'll notice too that these trucks have a lot more suspension than this example.

Why do they have spare tires in the bed in a stadium event? Not like they'll have to swap a tire in the middle of nowhere. Weight balance reasons? Rules requirement?

Most of those trucks are desert pre-runners or full-out race trucks. Ain't no tire shop out in the desert. They weren't built for stadium events. The suspension is tuned for the weight of the spares. Without them the truck would want to do a frontflip. Actual tough truck stuff is just beaters https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD-objaslFw

That "tuff truck" is the meth addled fuckwit interpretation of the real thing and isn't worth more than scrap price. The real thing, properly built, is pretty drat impressive. Also, a lot of baja/trophy truck vs "tuff truck" confusion going on
