That was actually some cruel packer gang initiation, "Way to go, Peppers. Now you gotta do the Laaaaaaaaam... beau... Leap."

He spent a decade not being a Packer. He's just conditioned to think that is a penalty, as it should be.

Actually, no they can't. The Packers get a special dispensation allowing them to keep doing it.

The Browns should too. :colbert: The old stadium had just a regular chainlink fence in the Dawg Pound Endzone. Now it is standard height, so we should be allowed to jump too.

Plus, our one endzone is named and probably trademarked. That counts for something too.

i remember reading that it was allowed league wide a couple of years back, it's just that the packers have a name for it. but i can't really find any source that confirms or denies it either way.

like i think the lions do it, and this happened in 2012

did they ban it since for everyone else?

Yeah, leaving the field of play is an unsportsmanlike foul. It was "outlawed" the same time as goalpost dunking, but the Packers were told they could still do it (since it's kind of their thing).

Oh they were not. Any player on any team can do that without getting flagged. The Packers were just brought up during the rule changes because none of the new rules affected the Lambeau leap. Like they were purposefully avoiding going after it while targeting a bunch of arbitrary poo poo in the same vein that no one cared about. Speaking of which, is the mile high salute illegal yet? It should be.
