Ehh... I remember an LP of that game. The main women characters weren't really that strong/independent. In fact, when I think about it, ALL of the main characters really sucked in that game. The side-characters were generally better. And I say generally in that I am sure there were some that were horrendous.

The Supreme Court told all current anti gay court cases to gently caress off, essentially making gay marriage legal in several states that were fighting it. Public comments are a goldmine right now. "This is an obomanation! Kids are being taken from straight parents and given to gay parents without the kids knowing where they came from!" Sadly I'm pretty sure she wasn't trying to blame this on Obama she just can't spell. EDIT: It's even better than that! She claims her kids were stolen by CPS and given to a gay couple

When WSJ ran an article about how 48% of online gamers in the US were women, the overwhelming response was that they weren't playing real games.

Is there actually any evidence that illegal immigrants are getting welfare checks and food stamps? I had a short bout of unemployment a few years back and I had to jump through hoops to get benefits. I don't see how it would be possible for an undocumented person.

I didn't read any of that, but I did catch the like 4th or 3rd panel from the bottom where "Quagmire" says "you made social justice into a punchline...". No, those guys did. Illegal immigrants don't get anything, but legal immigrants can receive government assistance. Back when I was in banking, on the 3rd of every month we'd get a hundred Soviet immigrants depositing their SSI checks. I think part of that was money was for fleeing a repressive Cold War regime (most came over before the wall fell). I don't know if Jose from Belize would get the same benefits today. Letters to soldiers is the worst busy work you can give to a class. "Why can't we put our last names or school names on the letters, Mr. Kareem?"
