I have no idea what he means by either of these things, except that he really wants to get under my skin, and it's working.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of those phones. I haven't heard much about the g3. Things are better than they used to be but I think htc and Samsung are more likely to keep their phone up to date. You may also want to consider a moto x+1. I'd go to the store, play with all of the phones, and pick whichever you like the most.

I'll be sticking with the Android platform, but am torn between the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the LG G3. Anyone have any opinions on the matter? Currently using a Galaxy S3. I've got an S5 and I'm pretty happy with it. It's like my S4 but a little better in every way except for the battery life which is much better (I charge it every other or third day, when it drops below 50%). The only issue I have with it is that, last I checked, there is no root/cyanogenmod for it yet (at least for Verizon) which is annoying. However, I haven't really felt the need to gently caress with it so oh well. Maybe if Samsung takes forever to provide an Android L update I will start to care. E: be aware that the Verizon discount only applies to the data charge. So depending on your exact plan that 18% ends up being more like 6% of your entire bill. I just want to zone out to Archer episodes, eat (crappy) delivery sushi and drink beer Recently discovered Spa-Francorchamps is only an hour and a half from the Nürburgring. Deciding if I should leave earlier Saturday morning and spend some time at Spa walking around...their apparently having a Citroen 2CV race. Looks like my Sunday morning lapping on the Ring may be a bit wet, oh well.

My SO really really wants a Mini Cooper to replace her ragged-as-hell MB C240. Are there any major issues with mid-late 2000's hardtop base Coopers that I should know about? The biggest anecdotes I see around the internet are power steering pump failure and timing chain issues.

Weather station chat -- anybody use them? I've got an old Oregon Scientific WMR968 setup that is slowly dying. I've got to replace all 12 AA batteries on a 15' tall pole in the next couple days, and that's going to be the last time I do that before replacing the setup... The Oregon Scientific was okay, but never really felt good. I'm looking at a Davis Instruments replacement... anything else I should consider?

We had an '03 n/a for awhile, and from what I remember: - The electric power steering was inadequately cooled, leading to premature failure on many cars. The fix involves an extra fan blowing on it, I believe, so if it's been repaired by the dealer once it's probably good. - The door sills are known to rust. - I've heard the CVTs are utter poo poo, though we had the 5-speed which was excellent. Not sure about the ones newer than that. We sold ours when it had 50k miles on it. They're seriously fun to drive though, even the n/a ones. Corners very flat and it becomes a lot of fun to use momentum through the curves to keep speed. Ours was my wife's technically, though I drove it regularly while she slowly learned stick on it. It was a hoot.

She pretty much refuses to learn how to drive a manual, despite the fact that both my cars are manual and every car she has owned has been drivable less often than not. I have a 2002 cooper s and the most immediate thing that had issues is the radiator fan relays go bad. Just purchase a radiator from O'Reilly with a lifetime warranty for $120 and you're set, it only takes 30 minutes to replace. My replacement hasn't died yet, but it's good to know if it does I don't have to pay anything. Also 2002-2006 were non interference engines that are quite solid, the timing chain issue is on 2007+ which they changed engine manufacturers and types to interference engine, probably a cost thing. The auto transmissions are pretty lovely regardless of year and usually die at around 80k-100k miles, if that's all she knows how to drive, avoid a mini. If she knew how to drive stick, the mini manual transmissions are rock solid. I have 135k on mine and it still clicks in and out of gears like a brand new transmission. slip proof stairs posted:The things she likes the most on Minis are the size and that pretty cool looking mint blue paint: Blue with black stripes represent! keykey fucked around with this message at 19:57 on Oct 7, 2014 |

Thanks for the ex chat! I know a person one day mentioned her and asked if we ever talked. I said not really but shes not a person that I really ever want to talk to. They asked why I said flat out shes just a bitch is all. That's when they said oh well its not good to be hung up on her like that. I didn't think I was hung up, just didn't want to talk to her and I think shes a bitch. In all fairness though, there are a few people that I think are asshats and don't care to talk to again either, so does that make it wrong?
