it's not a "fab" that makes chips, it's an SMT line that takes reels of components, unpopulated PCB's, and produces PCBA's it takes a human to run it. even "full auto" machines require an operator on the machine to visually locate the board to correct for minor misalignment. and there's a gap between EE CAD output and a pick n place program, similar to the gap between ME CAD files and a machinist defining the toolpath for a CNC clearly they're running a traditional board stuffing shop and all these are side gigs, but that narrative doesn't fly on KS and we're worse for it
