This guy seems more aggressive/insulting than I remember Lolitasama being, though I do remember him being kind of obnoxious as well. If nothing else, this thread has revealed that even someone as seemingly entrenched as Lolitasama was can end up changing their views later on. I'm sort of hoping that this shiranaihito guy is a teenager.

I'm actually sorta glad I've been away for a few days, shiranaihito was just... magical. Is he honestly incapable of seeing how he's not responding to any of the objections? Or is he, in the much more likely case, a troll who knows exactly what buttons to push? Seriously, he hit utterly disingenuous argumentation, "taxation obviously equals extortion", "burden of proof is on you", "go and do the research", "DRO's will totally work", "government is imperfect thus worthless", rage-quitting while still declaring victory, and Molyneux. In less than a DAY, while not managing to actually respond to a single question. If it's a troll, good research. If it's not... shira, i think you might have replaced Jrod as my new favorite libertarian. He never managed to achieve quite the same... utter obliviousness (although he tried, bless his heart. He tried.) Also, are we ever going to get back to the DRO RPG? I really do want to know

If you watched that one video he linked to, the Larken Rose "I can rob you" video, you'll see that's actually how some Libertarians think. Basically, it's 9 minutes of the guy saying "Taxation is the same as theft!" before going into a weird derail into how the constitution gave power to people who weren't even born yet to people who weren't born yet and how that's a bad thing? Does he not understand that's sort of an essential thing with laws. Otherwise, laws wouldn't apply to babies that were born the day after the law was passed. So, in his mindset, you have to pass infanticide laws on a daily basis, otherwise, I could just kill newborn babies tomorrow with impunity! It doesn't surprise me that his arguments are all surface and no substance. People often mistake speaking a lot with having to say. And if you want fun, watch more of Larken Rose's videos. He's clearly a total idiot. For example, he makes the mistake of calling the Nazi's socialist because they had the term Socialist in their name. It's a little complicated, but the Nazi's weren't really socialist, it was more of a ploy to appeal to the working classes. But still, it's a pretty big point about history, and if you're trying to talk about political theory, you should be able to get those nuances correct.
