I, Illudere, oath for October a Reaper Forest Dragon Hatchling. Last time you saw me I was oathing a giant and some vikings in July and then one day I suddenly gave up painting for months. I'm not entirely sure what happened. They were nearly finished too! All I had left to do was the viking shields and the basing. Here they are just for fun: 3 on 1? No fair!

I tried to use the smudge tool to make the flare from the flash look less terrible, and I was unsuccessful. The screen is fine.

Hey krushgroove, I never got a reply about this- Even though Gundams are multicolored plastic, is it ok if I oath one so long as I prime it? And if so can I prime some parts black and some parts white and call it zenithal?

Not sure if what you're describing is actually 'zenithal' priming but yes, go for it. If you're unsure just post a picture!

If you're unsure just post a picture! This is what I've got so far. Everything except stuff for the base has been cut from the sprue and the sprue nub's been ground down. From here I need to wash all the pieces, prime them, spray them their appropriate colors, detail them, and finally assemble it all. Pink will be primed white, red and grey will be primed black. To be honest it's a lot more work than I normally would post for an oath, but I find making these models to be easier for me to complete than painting tiny mans. Want me to just take another picture when it's all primed, for the oathing? I'd like to contribute to the thread with these models but it's kind of a pain in the rear end to conform to the rules with them. My main concern with oathing this stuff is that there are so many goddamn pieces that it's hard to get a shot of all of them at once to show that you've primed them, and I don't want to just prime them on the sprues. Would it be possible to get an exception to the single color rule for models if you can prove that the pieces are not the original colors or something? There's a website, dalong.net, that shows all the models assembled in their original colors, if that helps.

Yeah with Gundamn models it's difficult to conform to the rules of a competition that is primarily for they typical gaming figurine. Other Oathers have shown pictures of just the sprues they'll be assembling, I think we can just call this one the same thing, even if you've taken the pieces off the sprue. No worries! Carry on

Well spread the sprues out a little - there's more sprues in a Gundam kit than there are in a Rhino kit no one is going to check that every piece on the sprue is in the kit but just show that the bits are on the sprue and you'll be fine. signalnoise posted:I, signalnoise, OATH THIS GUNDAM STRIKE ROUGE MODEL BY BANDAI Oath Accepted!

Those of us who lurk will be counting... Lest even one component be missing. Beware the specter of the failed oath! Do not fall into temptation of leaving components on the sprue, like fruit on the vine to rot in idleness until temptations bloom turns' to the choking dust of damnation.

First of all--wow, thanks to Germ for giving me another judge point for my Jurnal! I liked that mini, but I'm pleasantly amazed that multiple people seem to have such a high opinion of it! That being said, it's time for me to finally oath up for this month! I, JerryLee, oath to paint this Games Workshop Sanguinary Guard, in 28mm, for the month of October The original jump pack has been replaced with a random metal one from, I think, an old Chaos Raptor. Not that it matters for the Oath, just heading off any weird looks.

Attention: Grab Bag Winners! We finally have albums going for both the US-based and the UK-based prize pots! So here's who you will contact for your choice of prize: If you live in North America, you are choosing from Iris of Ether's prize pot. If you live in Europe, you are choosing from Krushgroove's prize pot. If you live anywhere else, you may choose from either prize pot. Krushgroove's Prize Pot ...I don't actually have this link. Please contact Krushgroove! Iris of Ether's Prize Pot https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/118371598943498703849/albums/6062125106046823217?authkey=CNaG7-Drk5qKBg So this prize pot is absolutely bonkers. Thanks to everyone who donated! There's so much stuff, in fact, that if you're drawing from this pot you should pick both a 'small' prize and a 'big' prize! In general, that means one prize equal to a GW box set and one prize equal to 1-3 solo minis. 'Gimme a big hit from the box of Bones' counts as a valid choice, by the way. First up is Lovestick, May's prize winner. Last I checked you're drawing from my bag: what you would like? Next up will be Esser-z, June's winner. You already received your little prize (as we discussed), so let me know which remaining big prize you'd like. koreban, Grey Hunter, and Haydrian, let us know what region you're choosing from! Thanks everyone!

Oh man, that's awesome! I just came back to post an oath for October and I see I won something, kick rear end! I'm in the United States so I'm in Iris's prize pool, do you have an email address that I can contact you at? Don't have platinum so I can't send you a PM, maybe I ought to spring for that... So, for October I, Haydrian, do oath one conversion Dakkajet (Games Workshop by default) There are a good deal more pieces that are not ready to be added on yet, I'm planning magnetized swappable guns/bombs for underneath the body, and the Flyboy needs his arms reassembled and attached. That little grot sitting in the observation seat behind the pilot is actually the real pilot figurine, with a bit of creative cut and swap.

The blue ribbon is part of the Blue Ribbon Campaign, which is intended to stop Internet censorship and promote freedom of speech: https://www.eff.org/pages/blue-ribbon-campaign I would also like to claim all these guys and the tank as a themed group. Finally, it appears I'm missing the bonus points for Strike a Pose and Speed Painting on the spreadsheet.
