That was back when we still had Knox, bless his heart. Rodgers admitted afterwards that the trick on the return was the best play he had ever seen.

Gio was the only real playmaker the Bengals had on offense (Sanu and Gresham are good but they aren't very dynamic after the catch) so the Colts were probably told to loving level him and make him hear footsteps. When you know a team has the choice of Brandon Tate, Gregg Little and a 7th round rookie at #2 WR why not put a corner on Gio?

Good decision by the Colts.
