I mean Mike Tenay is bad on TNA but at least he's a puro guy, a well-known wrestling announcer, and was good when he gave a gently caress 15 years ago. What are their other options, Kevin Kelly? Tony Schiavone?

Just a guess, but I suspect Jim's gonna dial back the cutesy country sayings since I'm pretty sure he was told to play that crap up by Vince. Also, JR at his most hackneyed is still better than Tenay. Tenay is fine as a 3rd guy educating unfamiliar fans, and nothing more. He got the TNA job because he was available.
