And while we're talking about vehicles, it is possible to equip both infantry and AT upgrades on a kubelwagen at the same time or must I choose?

Played this for the first time with a full squad of 6. It's fun when we get good maps but any time we got maps with tanks, or to a lesser extent, planes, we got farmed. Bazooka should be available from the start.

Every map I join as a paratrooper, there are no planes. But that's not all. There is never any infantry support, just para, tanks and planes. Enemy infantry scatter like roaches and win maps by the handful while we suck our thumbs and do gently caress all. Yes, we definitely need 2 squads of heavy tanks against several squads of motorized infantry, that will win the battle. Good job Gen Retard

This is unfolding to be something magical. Paratroopers seem to be the core of german operations, I routinely see several squads of them deployed and nothing else. Against diverse allied force that can easily overwhelm with numbers and firepower. I think Germany is being trolled right now, nobody could be that stupid unintentionally... The bitching and moaning from fellow para is through the roof. People join in, see the loadouts and rage quit within a minute. I'm switching to infantry, because gently caress this noise forever. Only 38k to lieutenant rank

That loadout is enough to win 80% of assaults You'd have to get enough general-dollars to buy each AT. Infantry is the cheapest at "gently caress you", with tanks and planes especially being rather expensive. I don't think you can equip all those ATs, either.

So bazooka is my new favorite boomstick. With silver hoarder badge it has 6 shots, which is enough to remove 3-4 light tanks out of the game. Combined with MP40 and one of every type of vehicle, I'm changing course of the battle all by my lonesome. The best story so far is the allied tanker, who popped his head out of the hatch to see me standing behind him, aiming the bazooka. So I shot him directly in the face and took his Hellcat. Feels good, man. I am however really really pissed off that Fallschirmgewehr 42 is only available to you when you're a paratrooper. $298,500 it costs, and it only unlocks when you're at the end of your para career. And then gently caress you, can't equip it when you're back on infantry. Maybe there should be a note or something, because it's alot of loving money. To top it off, it's not a very good gun at all. The whole point of it, is that there is supposed to be a switchable single shot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JozPqC4JANQ Nitrox fucked around with this message at 22:27 on Oct 24, 2014 |

That reminds me of one of my greatest achievements in this game so far. It was the airfield map and I was playing my scoped K98 infantry guy. I was trying to go up into the hills to get a sniping vantage point and came across a guy in a chaffee roughly where I was planning on going. I was moving in to plant some AT grenades when he just popped out of the tank so I murdered him with the pistol and then stole his tank and proceeded to kill three more allied tanks with it.

If you que as an infantry unit you can be 6. I do not think you can que as a larger group. your friends can queue for your game though through the friends list if you are friends with each other

Not sure if game is full but queuing for a friend's game never seems to work. I discovered this game a couple of weeks ago and it was surprisingly fun. Reminds me of the fun I had in bf2, something the newer battlefields haven't seems to replicate

It's official, the new S build sucks bunches. You can spend all night waiting to deploy your ATs in the RTS side, and we all know that sitting and waiting on a week night for 6 hours is great game design that keeps you coming back for more!

Something is terribly hosed when it comes to balance. One side always have ridiculous advantage and steamrolls another, no exception. Haven't seen a balanced matched since the update came out. Attack/defense doesn't matter. Also, 2800+ per team is the most I've ever seen play online. There are however ridiculous number of thompson-wielding bazooka man in Ally infantry ranks. All while half of German soldiers show up with KAR98 and run for the hills to play sniper for some dumb reason.

Another trick to keep in mind is, if you don't have any enemy tanks to square off with or if you're trying to put pressure on a point, then parking yourself between the point you're attacking and the point your team's infantry is coming from is a good way to stay safe too. You can't really depend on your team going out of their way to help protect you, but if killing dudes with rockets and antitank grenades is something they can do as they pass by, then they become pretty reliable protection for you.

A tank engine near cap point is music to my ears because I have a bazooka in my loadout and it takes very few shots to make you not exist. Except a Hellcat, loving thing takes 4 rockets to kill. Edit: Just left the game where out of 20 people I was the only person with an APC, the rest of the assault team was forced to run on foot or share a single bicycle spawn. All new people with mp34s and starting rifles. The defending infantry had BARs, bazookas and N74s, which is pretty much an endgame content. It's not a bad F2P and it's good that it is F2P because the interface through steam and the numerous errors I've had trying to log on are horrendous. It seems to work when it wants to. Other than that it has good potential as a time waster.
