Urrrgh this chapter 14 fight against Jeanne in the first game. I must have beat it on PS3 but I have no idea how I managed it, I cannot do it now. Been dying to her for two hours straight now. She's so aggressive I can't even get a chance to think about what I'm doing, so I just end up frantically dodging away from her and somehow failing to string together even basic PKP combos.

On the other hand I thought Luka in this game was just utterly fantastic in most ways. Couldn't stand the Luka in W101 though.

Turns out the trick I was forgetting was "don't use the basic guns, they don't do a goddamn thing to her." I switched to Shuraba and beat her fairly easily.

I'm sad they kinda hit the reset button on their relationship and just made them foils for each other again. The two of them starting to like each other over the course of the first game was really cute, and they seem to have thrown a lot of that out, here.

Yeah, he's slow and has that huge rear end barrier, but he seems fun. I might just stick with Lumen Sage because I like having time slowing, but Rodin will be a fun second to play.

It's pretty hosed up that none of your outfits transfer between Bayonetta and Jeanne when you buy one. I'd like to cut down on the hassle of halos it's gonna cost me when I eventually decide to sit down and farm for those 10 million halos.

I've been playing with the peach outfit and it's maybe the most ridiculous outfit I've ever seen in a video game, ever. Doing anything except the slow strut/walk ends up looking up her skirt. Also I just played with a dude who's gameplan for tag climax seemed to be "just shoot constantly with the bow to chain your combo while the other guy does the work" and it seemed to work out pretty well for him. We beat two lumen sage cards no problem and he ended up crushing me point-wise.

Tag climax is a disappointment in that the verses are way too short for the amount of setup time/loading between them. Also we're only two games into the series but Chapter 13+ still manages to pull strings. Best videogame moment this year.
