Theyre a bit better in bright green or yellow but eeeh. Still really conservative for lambo. AirRaid fucked around with this message at 17:20 on Oct 25, 2014 |

Well, in metallic blue. To be honest I've never seen a lambo that was in such a plain colour. Usually the paint job is as ostentatious as the car, like yellow, bright green or something. Hell even white would stand out against the norm for expensive cars and done the job.

This is a great gif. So can anyone explain to me why you want to drift around corners in rally racing? If you're sliding at all in roadracing, it's almost always bad and will slow you down. Is there something about having less overall grip that makes it desirable to skid all over the place?

Rev. Dr. Moses P. Lester posted:This is a great gif. I'm not 100% on this but I imagine it has something to do with the difference between a relatively smooth surface that the tire can make good contact with, and the more fluid surface of dirt or gravel. On a smooth surface you get a very large advantage from static versus kinetic friction (not sliding versus sliding), you don't see that on a dirt or gravel surface. Instead you have a much more complex interaction where you gain traction though not just the material the tires are touching, but also the material beneath that. On loose surfaces you can sort of imagine the wheels behaving like a paddle boat.
