Looks like some of the other camos are easier, i.e. gold: 50 kills without attachments (apparently seen in a stream today).

Diamond is for unlocking all the skins on that gun (just like you had to do for Gold in BO2), and Royalty is for unlocking all of the diamond skins in a weapon class (just like Diamond from BO2).

So, say I preordered this so I'd get the Destiny skins for my Guardian, is the game worth plonking my money down, or what? I don't mind giving it a whirl, and the fact I've got a PS4 means I've got money than sense, that's obvious right? But would it be worthwhile grinding until I've unlocked the Doritos assault rifle skin (with an authentic PUFF of nacho dust with every burst!)?

Two weeks ago.

I wasn't about to spend money on a device that was gimped to include features that don't even work in my country.
And I really, really wanted The Pinball Arcade.

The hardest item on the list is buying the game at Wal-Mart with a 24-pack of Dew on the same receipt, which gets you the exo. The rest is pretty easy; you basically have to go shopping.

You're saying that if you focused entirely on longshot challenges and switched to a different gun after you complete the 500 longshots each time, you could have this one camo unlocked on 10 to 20 different guns after a year of playing this game religiously. That's absurd.

I'll just work on my longshots for the riot shield and the other things in that category (like the tactical pogo stick and the digital boomerang) so that I can carry around a plaque of royalty.

Blops 2 had perkless shield kills, which was certainly interesting.

You may have missed the...slightly hectic series of games in Ghosts where Spoon was going for the "Riot Shield Assists" camo. Mind you, that's not "distraction assists," but actual "thwack them with the shield and then have someone else shoot them immediately" assists.
