If Fernandez got his studs up and both feet off the floor and missed the ball from that position then he's some kind of superman. Lot of media bumf about Balotelli this morning. All I saw him do was one neat finish and a massively overhit cross field ball (and a sad little dive after he fronted up to Jonjo).
