Man, that name... it just doesn't sound good when you read it too fast. Cute picture, though.

You know, I wonder if people actually read PYF, or just bookmark these threads and never venture out of their bookmark folders?

Spanish Manlove posted:You know, I wonder if people actually read PYF, or just bookmark these threads and never venture out of their bookmark folders? Strictly speaking, is that a problem? As long as the threads don't generate dumb reports and chug along with large lurker numbers I really can't see an issue. And yeah, I have a bunch of PYF threads bookmarked for browsing but rarely post in them. Still enjoy 'em, anyway.

I don't have any PYF threads bookmarked anymore. It lets me read the megathreads in big batches at once while still being able to participate, and of course lets me see the smaller threads that crop up. I love birds. Sometimes, though, you just gotta go. At. Meh.

New threads are scary, what if they are boring and I waste my previous time?!

I have the few usual threads bookmarked, but I still occasionally venture out into the actual subforum to see if there's any new interesting stuff around. I'm not a very active PYF poster to begin with, so eh. I actually have favorite pyf threads that I don't bookmark, specifically to force me to look at the rest of the threads to see if there's something new and awesome.

Must be nice I was named after a guest boyfriend on Cheers... not joking. My dad was away on business mom was pregnant they both watched the episode and both suggested the name Andy and its stuck. God I wish I was joking. Here have cats flipping out

I was named after a character on I, Claudius because my dad and grandpa are Roman history nerds and my mom thought the name was pretty.
