See how far you can get by asking to see his bike, asking for a test ride, title verification, and all along refer to it as a Ducati. If he ever corrects you, act confused, the ad says Ducati right here.

That would be funny. I'm not terribly surprised anymore, but reading sales ads still leaves still curious how people own a bike for 10 years and have less than 2000 miles on it.

MoraleHazard posted:That would be funny. I think some people fall in love with the idea of riding, or with the motorcycle itself, but not necessarily with actually riding. They may also just have so many obligations that they really cannot ride that much. I look at it like snowboarding. I love it, I get a pass every year and shoot for a minimum of 40 days on the mountain. I know people that "love" it too, but can only swing a few weekends a year on the mountains because [reasons]. That said, there are also dudes that get in the triple-digits of days on-mountain and make me look like an amateur.

Too bad it's a decent price for the bike. I'm gonna join in the flood of emails.

DRZ spends 10+ hours on the tender and the battery dies after one press of the starter button. gently caress, well I guess she's out of commission for the rest of the season if the battery is that shot. Push it back in the garage, VFR fires up like a champ. Stop for gas, press starter, dead battery. Shitcock

Haven't had the slightest bit of trouble with my Bandit since I charged the battery off the bike last May. Until last weekend when I took it out and it wouldn't even give me a gauge sweep! Jump started it and rode for 20 mins and it has been fine since. The only thing I can think is that I have a USB charger hardwired in, but that's been on for months and I only road the bike the week before, it wasn't sat for weeks like it often is.
