What in the flying gently caress happened to the used car market? I found an AMC Eagle wagon nearby for sale, looks to be in decent condition and well taken care of... for $6,800. I know that Eagles aren't exactly super common these days, but $7k is drat near SyTy money.

Call me crazy, but I've spent too long in assorted casts for that not to be a problem, and managing a cluch in a Bledsoe boot is a stone bitch. Friend of mine with a 5 speed XJ broke his left foot. Ended up welding a pistol grip lever deathtrap thing to the clutch pedal so he could grab the handle with his left hand to engage the clutch. Corners while shifting were... interesting. As in "hold the wheel with his knee while clutching left handed and shifting right handed" interesting Also: 5 speed swap in an XJ is childs play. All you need is the ECU, master/slave hydraulics set, flywheel, pressure plate, flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts, pilot bearing, throwout bearing, transmission, trans crossmember, pedal box, driveshafts, 4x4 shift linkage assembly, floor blockoff plate, shift cane, shift boot, and splicing a couple wires if you can do a clutch job, install a new heater core, install a new master/slave cylinder, and swap an ECU you know literally every step to the project already (plus a few), you just have to put different parts on when you take the old ones off. Oh, and drill 6 or 7 holes on centerpunch divots that are already made for you from the factory.

The last time I went to the bar with a big group of people, it was the complete opposite. I was wearing my office clothing, and my friend and her friends were in ripped flannel and old sweatshirts with cats printed on the front. I felt way too clean for that bar.

I might shank them all. Only reason I stopped at the bar after work is cuz I got a metal sliver embedded in my finger that I'm gonna have to dig out later and it's gonna hurt like a bitch.

Sack up and get it out of there, use a brand new utility knife blade and soak everything in peroxide before you start. It really doesn't hurt that bad usually.

Wow stay away on a Friday and come back to 140+ new posts. Tinder...my photos are ok. I'm waiting to see if I don't look terrible in the photos from my brother's wedding, I feel like I look like poo poo in all photos though. I get a few matches a week but I'm terrible at the whole talking part and haven't been out on many dates. I've got a poo poo load of body image issues so that doesn't help things either. Oh well. Crap have five matches from earlier this week...maybe I should say something. There's a chance we'll be taking the M3 and 928 to the mountains this weekend so there should be some decent snapchat stuff. But I'm not on call and we're headed out to dinner and I'm going to drink a lot. cursedshitbox posted:I've been working on this lego jeep...

Welp, registered for my spring classes. Statics for Engineers Prob/Stats for Engineers Calc 3 Physics 2 I'm thankful that those 4 basically fill up my schedule, because all I have left for my AA after that is Differential Equations and I was almost tempted to add that too, in spite of how hard Calc is. Luckily there's a schedule conflict with the Engineering courses, which are spring and fall only so I don't wanna put those off. Guess I'll take DiffEq over the summer and graduate in July. Holy poo poo I'm less than a year from being done with E: Also because the Eng. courses are a joint venture (probably the wrong term but gently caress it) with UCF, meaning they're only offered at the Oveido campus, while the other two are only offered at the Sanford campus (which is closer to me). They're a good half hour apart and I have one at each every day. Guess my gas bill's going back up, I've only put about 2k miles on the car since April. So now instead of ~12 miles a day, I'll be doing 3x that. Fender Anarchist fucked around with this message at 00:51 on Nov 8, 2014 |

I've been going to school since 07, but only started on this degree track last summer, which means I've got a shitload of basic academics and courses related to other degrees, but almost nothing towards this one in terms of math and science courses. Basically when I start at UCF (hopefully) next Fall, I'll be an 8th-year Junior.
