The original report that would lead to criminal prosecutions and thus will never see the light of day.

Fair play to Garcia, hes more than likely torpedoed his entire career but I guess he didnt want this farce attributed to him.

So I'm reading about the change they've slipped in under the radar as part of this where it will no longer be the executive committee that rules on world cup bids but instead the fifa congress. I'm not wrong in thinking all this means is that the voting blocks of smaller countries will get even more power and that even more money is going to end up in the power brokers pockets right?

This is absolutely correct. The shithouse federations that are made up of hundreds of tiny countries like concacaf and the Asian block will decide where each world cup is played. Europe won't have a single bearing on anything.

Remember that the Congress will only see a shortlist of 3 countries compiled by the Executive Committee.

Which makes the double dipping even more flagrant and hilarious.

This is great PR for him, and he'll get hired by a bunch of companies who want to look like they're doing a meaningful investigation.

I'm still blown away that FIFA had the balls to doctor the report to blame everything on England's swag bags. It's amazing and I can't imagine what they were thinking.

E: just want to point out that “Today’s decision by the Chairman of the Adjudicatory Chamber contains numerous materially incomplete and erroneous representations of the facts and conclusions detailed in the Investigatory Chamber’s report" are basically the strongest words a lawyer in Garcia's position could use and it's damning as hell.

Football Team.
Why hasn't anyone organized some sort of campaign to the major FIFA sponsors/broadcasters? Coke, etc? Writing letters to FIFA obviously wouldn't help, but surely we can do something here. The only way we aren't going to see a WC built on slave labor is if enough sponsors tell FIFA they're out, right?

You have to admire the leverage Sepp must have on people. Even the most anti fifa interviews over this are waving off questions when his name gets brought up and indicating they don't feel he's involved or responsible in what's happening.
