Man I missed the part where everyone started hating J Cole apparently. also Spark Master Tape is probably the only reason I follow this thread really, his next release is legit the upcoming music I'm most excited for. Unless he's some guy who died and no one knows.

After getting into Trap Lord I gave that lackluster A$AP Mob mixtape a few more spins and honestly Ferg's tracks are such standouts (with the exception of Way It Go but that's just because of the production)

Ferg is good. J Cole was good but his music now falls into """conscious""" boring rapper territory. And I have seen too many rappers I love fall into that trap.

Seems like they're starting to get a bit of buzz too so expect people to be hating all over on them in roughly 8 months. for what it's worth I still don't gently caress with ferg. I can't get over the feeling that his music is supposed to be a parody of 3-6 and Southern trap in general. the goofiness of his voice and flows combined with the sense of irony ruin it for me. idk why but he doesn't really hit the same vein that migos does and they're pretty goofy
