I like the game pad for mario but on the other hand I just booted up bayo 2 and the gamepad was not made for this.

I can play with the pro controller right? Does the gamepad have to be on ?

You can turn the gamepad display off if you want to use a different controller. Press Home -> controller settings -> display off. It turns back on if you press any of the gamepad's buttons though.

I think they meant that even GCN controllers don't enable the analogue shielding from Melee, which is true and has been true since Brawl.

Just in case.

This is looking really enticing for a January sale self splurge. I haven't seen these kind of deals anywhere else in the UK.

I'm gonna guess sometime between never and "PS there are N64 games on virtual console at the end of this direct peace out", no telling really.

Their approach to virtual console games is like Paul Rudd in Wet Hot American Summer when Janeane Garafolo makes him clean his table

For those of you with vWii homebrew or a copy of Smash Bros Brawl, the new version of Nintendon't works with the official Gamecube controller adapter. You can play a backup of Mario Sunshine with an actual Gamecube controller or Playstation controller no problem.

Nintendon't is seriously awesome. I'm playing a copy of Mario Sunshine on my WiiU and it looks GREAT upscaled. I'm using the Wii classic controller and it plays like a dream.

I'm functionally illiterate when it comes to homebrew, and even I was able to get Nintendont working with ps4 and classic controllers.

How exactly does Nintendon't work again? Is there anyway to use the Gamecube controllers or is there no way to use the adapter outside of smash yet?
It'd save the issue of having to hook up the gamecube (or fiddling with Dolphin) if I could use it. Doesn't it require original discs to use it at all?

It plays Gamecube ISOs off a USB drive and allows you to use classic controllers, pro controllers and now Gamecube controllers on non-compatible systems using the new adapter. Nintendon't doesn't require the original discs, but another similar app, Devolution, does.

Alright, cool. Saves me the trouble of dealing with the Gamecube/Wii to play those games, only real loss will be memory cards.

It'll emulate memory cards to your storage media at least. :v:

I'd guess it plays at the Wii's 480p, which the Wii U then upscales to whatever resolution you have it set to.

If you use Apple products you can't really go wrong with one of theirs. They work incredibly well and aren't built like poo poo like most routers. I know you're probably think c'mon guy how durable does a router need to be but I've had some fail out of nowhere.

How does Mario Sunshine work out with the classic controller and digital shoulder buttons? I thought analog shoulder buttons were kind of a must with that game.

I am cool.
Why is the Home button on the gamepad blinking? It blinks twice, then it pauses, then it blinks twice again. It's been doing this for a few days now and I can't figure out why.

Also every time I turn on the console I see "please wait" before the main page loads, and every time I launch Mario Kart or Smash it needs to "prepare" before they launch. It didn't do this a week ago.
