The signs look funny because they've been shot with slug guns a million times.

This is really cool but I wonder what it would look like if you cropped out that horizontal streth of road entirely

I wanted to leave that in there because it makes for an invisible crossing. The railway tracks are directly behind that piece of road, but obscured by the crown of it. For some reason I thought that'd be obvious :shobon:

Hey thanks, I just realized it was actually your photo that made me start taking pictures inside garages in the first place

That's fair enough. What draws my eye isn't the railway crossing signs (honestly hadn't even thought about them enough to realize there was no railway in the picture) but rather the curve of the road and the colours. But now that you mention it I kind of see what you mean.

Seconding this. I really like it without that strip at the bottom.

I prefer it with the strip of road :ohdear:

The signs just feel arbitrarily cropped now.

I like the vertical one but I would've cropped the other stop sign too. Different strokes and all that, plus, it's your art

Grimsby escarpment looking at Toronto. The road in the foreground is Murray St.
Google maps says it's 52km from where I took the picture straight to the CN Tower.
