Also, since I can't find it anywhere, can someone tell me exactly what was the Legacy Weapon? I only know it was used by either the Weatherlight or Urza to defeat the Phyrexians and even then I might be wrong.

It's a collection of random poo poo that the Weatherlight spent like 2.5 blocks flying around searching for that magically turned into an uberweapon used by Urza against the Phyrexians.

Basically it was a combination of poo poo Urza made, including Karn, a bunch of Jewels, and Gerrard.

Edit: Also it all fused together with Karn at the end and made more knowledgeable and powerful than all walkers besides like maybe Bolas and Ugin?

It's technically anti-Pyroblast/YoungP tech that happens to do well against Burn.

We're even seeing things like a full playset of Dragon's Claw in Modern, and Absolute Law as part of Enlightened Tutor packages in Legacy.

Yeah, it was basically the focus for about a billion white mana that the null moon had been soaking up over the centuries. Turns out that dropping that much white mana on a giant sapient cloud of black mana is basically a giant matter/anti-matter reaction.

How do you lose to dredge turn 2? Put some loving relics in your sideboard.

I won against onboard relics twice in GPNJ with manaless dredge and was a turn off from a kill in a third game involving 2 relic second ability activations out of 5 sideboarded games where relic could have shown up. So for 8 matches that's 5 games where relic was in the deck, 3 where it showed up, 1 where it did anything. Sure there's probably (read: very likely) some pilot error but I don't think it's actually the scariest card to face as dredge when things like Cage, RIP, Tormod's Crypt, Containment Priest exist.

Relic isn't really reliable unless you can hit 2 of them, and if you're trying to sandbag them for having mana up to pop them and therefore not play one turn 1, the mana (and arguably more common) version of dredge could have Cabal Therapy naming relic.

And it's true that probably a quarter of the artists on my feed do update with that sort of stuff, but at least they call the collections 'Figure Studies' or whatever, and give my imagination that figleaf. I still think that if you struck the word "random" from Tibbles' rules text he would have been a Standard powerhouse people were actually excited to play and the card's reputation would be completely reversed. What a difference one word makes.
