A lot of Canadians have this weird hate on/ inferiority complex for Americans so they're all "why would you want to be American anyway boo-hoo". meanwhile a Canadian passport is the only one that can make Americans jealous because they don't want to be French or Chinese or whatever, but secretly they know Canada is just America++

the best part about living abroad as an american is definitely how i have to still pay a shitload of taxes and don't get to vote for representation and also because TERRORISMS i have to tell the US exactly how much money i'm making and where i'm putting it
