I've got Muzei with a couple Space/NASA categories, so I get fine art AND blast-off space mans.

What's the current en-vogue lockscreen replacement which doesn't completely blow? Im still running stock unrooted on touchwiz, and while the stock lockscreen is fine, I was hoping to add in some sort of notification on the lockscreen which it currently doesn't do.

The only decent one I've ever used is widget locker. This was some time ago though.

Thanks, will do! Multimuze makes it possible to have multiple plugins active at the same time. So for the fine arts and space combo you'd need booth the Reddit plugin for space imagery and Multimuze so that you can have it and built-in art showing up.

Is there a better extension for displaying your own photos in Muzei? I know it has the option natively, but, out of my ~25 selected pictures, it really likes to show me the same 4 or 5. I don't get why it doesn't just cycle through them all in order.

Overdrive users, can you check out books only from your specific town library, or numerous libraries? In physical life my library card is good around the state, but it wasn't being accepted for the library the next town over on Overdrive. My hometown library was tied to the Houston Digital Media catalog, so I could check out books via Overdrive from Houston. Dunno if this will help you.

DrBouvenstein posted:I don't think so. I believe Android only has one single wallpaper for both the lockscreen and homescreen. Not exactly true. If you're using a 3rd-party launcher, the wallpaper for that is separate from the wallpaper for the lockscreen and for the app-switcher background. At least, with Themer that's the case. I think it was for Nova as well, but it's been a while.

Samsung devices also allow separate lock and home screen wallpaper.

Also certain 3rd party lockscreen apps allow you to set their own wallpaper. I think AcDisplay does but i don't know if it supports live wallpapers.

There was some alarm chat earlier - this is probably pie-in-the-sky, but is there any alarm app that can use google music or soundcloud music instead of local files? I'd like to use music as my alarm without using the same song/album/artist all the time and without needing to download local files of everything I want, which is an enormous hassle and often not an option. I'm not really picky on other alarm features.

Anyone else having problems with Light Flow on Lollipop? Even after the update, things don't set off the LED as it should. The settings are the same as they were in Kit Kat but it seems nothing works right on Lollipop.. Also, for some reason, Light Flow thinks my Nexus 4 is a Nexus 5 and has that option checked. Could that be it?

So I just downloaded PushBullet because I wanted to be able to send and receive texts from my PC. I use 8sms for texting because I did not like the layout of Hangouts at all and wanted something familiar to my old Galaxy Nexus. I can send texts no problem, but the notifications don't go to my PC so I can't receive texts. I used the "test send notification" in the mobile app and I got the pop up on my PC. Just tested the imgur app and I got the notification on my PC that an upload was successful. Gmail notifications work, too. Any ideas? edit; 8sms has a setting to enable Pushbullet support Sab669 fucked around with this message at 14:58 on Dec 2, 2014 |

Are there any news/rss reader apps that have a widget that is a list of headlines? Every news/feed reader I've tried has a widget that is a giant card of a single article that I have to scroll through just to see what's new.

On a computer you can go to the Play site and click on Play activity. It gives you a list of the recent downloads both paid and free. No dates and it doesn't break it down on updates either. Edit: Nevermind. It's only recently shared activity on Play.
