Tenuous at best and not the argument Sugar was making either. If they'd have built it, I don't believe for a minute it would have made any difference.

Didn't realise there was a thread for this. That loving skeleton. Sugar's reaction was priceless.

A live chicken and a rabbi with a knife wouldn't have fulfilled the kosher chicken order either.

Actually, to clarify: Mark will end the series as the best contestant on the apprentice, which has little to do with who will actually win the £250k, as that was decided before the process even started.

Sanjay is nice but he's a goner. And the last one to go will be either Bianca or Daniel, though Daniel's managed to stay this far likely because Sugar likes his business idea.

The show needs an "all stars" series so we can see Mark and Jedi Jim trying to outsell one another. I'm not sure even Jim could bag a £50 diamond, though.

The skeleton technicality didn't really matter. I think it was just an excuse to get rid of Felipe. Let's be honest he was clearly the weakest and had no real chance of winning after his awful leadership the previous week.

The worst aspect of the skeleton was that Suralan just made up an arbitrary penalty amount (310, I think) so that team would lose even though they otherwise did better on the overall task. And when I heard they needed to find Oud I thought, where are they going to locate one of these? pippy posted:The skeleton technicality didn't really matter. This task is stupid every season. I think the penalty is that they pay sticker/retail price. So you could just ignore all the low cost items, the high cost items are what make it. £310 for that skeleton killed them.

Fatty posted:But weren't they also fined £50 for getting too much old rope? Can't see it costing that much. Yeah, it seemed like the old rope fine was predefined. It's unclear if the £310 for the skeleton was the fine that was meant to go with the skeleton, or if Sugar just made that number up on the spot to guarantee a loss. It is still dumb that they can't use the Internet to research things. Or on the design challenges, send a picture to the other sub-team so they can actually see if the design's OK or not.
