Gamerbee had to have thought he had more health at the end there or something. It was a good set of games, I'm sad to see it end like that.

Yeah IDK what bee was doing at the end but I think he knew that fuudo was gonna try t timerscam no matter what. Either way he did a great job with Elena.

Maybe Gamerbee thought he had Ultra meter to pull off a heal? I have no idea, never played much Elena.

Hypocrisy posted:Why? The online tournaments were Europe & USA only. Non-Japanese Asian players got much less opportunities to earn points or qualify and America is general had way more tournaments to earn points since we have a "major" every other week and foreign players are travelling here less and less. Also it's an online tournament for a fighting game.

So NEC 15 is on this weekend, featuring a shitton of different games. I was really excited to watch the KoFXIII tournament matches, but the stream it's supposed to be on (https://www.twitch.tv/kickpunchblock) is apparently not real or something anymore? I dunno, it sent me to a page explaining that Justin.tv is being shut down or some poo poo, so I assume it hasn't been active in a while. Hopefully that won't be a problem. Also there's going to be a first-to-seven between Smug and Pepeday on saturday, which should be pretty awesome, and MvC2 with Justin Wong and Sanford.

I'm actually excited for anime games this weekend, kinda disgusted with myself. Want to see some cats and vampires and 12/400 year old demon-girls and genetically engineered super weapons with 80 arms with hit boxes that take up the whole screen. If there's no dog announcer I'm gonna be upset.

Momochi, Nemo and Sako are my favorite players to watch lately, watching them make mid-tier work is a treat. Warmed my heart to see Pugera/Fuudo struggle so much too, good sign for the health of the game. It's a shame that Daigo's been so boring to watch lately but his valiant crusade to get Evil Ryu deleted from the game is appreciated.

Remember when a lot of idiots were saying that Eryu just isn't a Daigo character and he should go back to Ryu, like 1 month after Daigo picked him up?
