Whoever said last night's Peter Pan would be really good was so incredibly wrong. I can't believe I'm watching this sober, it's so terrible, I'm 30 minutes in and Walken hasn't shown up yet. It's corny as hell, and the cgi is cheap and sparse. How the hell did they screw this up so bad. This is a picture of them flying, you can see the wires, but more than that, there's a visible hump on the little kid's back. Ravane fucked around with this message at 18:54 on Dec 5, 2014 |

That and that so far Eddie seems like a pretty cool dude and Barry is starting to look like a stalker.

Its a pointless argument since the show itself doesn't find the idea creepy and is just going to continue on with that plot.

What is infinitely more creepy is him stringing her along as the Flash, exploiting her hero worship for as a substitute for romantic affection. I know it's a trope in comic books, but it is really unhealthily creepy.

The "uhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh" was actually one of the only lip-synced bits in the show (the vine was from a joke during a commercial break), and Christopher Walken hosed it up. He stands there talking as the track is playing for like 5 seconds.

I think everyone can agree that Barry hitting on Iris as the Flash when he knows she's in a perfectly fine relationship with Eddie is weird. Thankfully they've probably killed that bit off with this week's episode. Ravane posted:Why? I should mention that this is my first time watching peter pan. Its tradition. Ravane posted:Why? I should mention that this is my first time watching peter pan. there's some thematic stuff you can read into it, like how the books point out that Hook and the dad have some similar attributes, but the play was originally going to use the same actor for Hook and some other character, and the guy who played Mr. Darling (or Hook) asked them to give him the other role and so they did, and then everyone else did. they were just being cheap to avoid paying another guy

More importantly that cute blonde girl from Arrow is awesome and they should have cute nerd babies. I've seen like, 4 episodes of Flash and less of Arrow, the only thing I know about those shows is Barry is a dork and Emily Bett Rickards is cute.

It's not usually two prominent and recognizable roles like in this case, though.

What I can't explain is why this rendition has made Peter Pan into a hot lesbian, or why I like him/her so much. Edit: Walken just slapped Peter Pan on the rear end. Is this the porn version?
