I looked this up! They did, but different people did the voices of different characters in the song I heard. Plus, it seemed to deal with loss exclusively. Thank you though.

I heard this song a long time ago on Emerson College Radio. It was during their show tunes block, so I'm positive that it's from a musical. The song is about a bunch of people talking about loss in their lives (imaginably to their therapists), specifically people who have died who were close to them. It's a bunch of different voices, and some of it is singing, but a lot of it is just talking. I thought it could be Next To Normal, but looking at the synopsis no song really matches that description. This song was incredible and emotional, and I'd love to know what song it is, and what musical it's from.

Could be Goodbye from Hereafter (the album is on Spotify if you're looking for it).

The code you say?
I've got a friend who lost an SD card with a particular song that she's been trying to track down ever since. I'm hoping a selection of lyrics will help someone identify the song.

"wipe away your tears, don't cry
I'll never have to tell you, goodbye"

"I'll never leave,
I pray to god down on my knees,
not for me, but for you and my family.
I'm beggin' please..."

"I have all the love you've given me"

If anyone has any idea it would be absolutely fantastic, thanks!

Fur, fur aw-a-a-ay.
More who the artist is rather than the song, and imagine the bullet points are all emphatically prefixed with 'I'm not very sure of this, but':

- I think the song title is '__(a word I can't remember)___ of Dreams'.
- It's by an (male) singer-songwriter who is American or possibly Canadian.
- I think it's '80's, though it might possibly be late '70's, but it sounds very hippie-Californian trebly 60's.
- I think it's from a rerelease of an album that was 'rediscovered' and reissued (on a possibly fairly high-profile indie label, something like Domino) in the late '90's.
- The singer was not widely known, and I don't think released very much bar album this song was on.
- The singer's first name is quite possibly Bob.
- He has a quite high, childlike voice.
- I definitely remember there being an insinuation (denied by singer) that the he seemed to like kids a bit too much.

There's a 90s upbeat pop song that I can never remember. It has a female singer and sounds similar to this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqdWTeXWvOg

The only thing I can ever remember is a lyric about a roof... or ceiling... I think. It's not any of the more well known songs, and I'm fairly certain it's a one hit wonder. I know it's not a lot to go on.

So in the video there's a couple, a guy and a girl, 20-somethings, and they're hanging out in some sort of beach house by the water. Part way through the vid there's a bit of a tame sex scene kind of thing out on the beach. After, there was a bit in the evening where the girl is spying through a window on some happy family sitting down for supper. And I think it ends with her and her boyfriend standing by a bonfire on the beach.

This is probably "Open" by Rhye.

I heard this song on the radio, wrote down some of the lyrics to look it up and I can't find it still. It sounds like a modern upbeat rock/indie song. The chorus says "(something) get better, (something) get better." And right before he says it one time the lyrics are "But if this was the end then where was the start". Any help would be greatly appreciated,

But he's right!
So, there was an animated music video a few years ago, and I seem to remember it had like a techno-ish track to it. And the video was like these little anime-style vignettes, a sentai scene, a kaiju scene, just like 2 second cuts to them. And then halfway through, one of the scenes mixed with another scene and all of a sudden you had like Godzilla fighting a newscaster or something.

Not high.

I swear.

I'm going mad for not being able to remember or even properly identify a song that I thought I had. All I can recall is that it starts with a slow beat (with about two seconds between each beat), it's a fairly slow/chill instrumental track without any lyrics and the video clip of it was a static POV view of a small boat or canoe going over a river with an orange-pinkish sunset (so you could only see the bow). I think the genre would be chillout or lounge. It must've come out somewhere between 2005 and 2010, I think, and something tells me the artists are Scandiwegian. Also pretty sure both the band name and the track title are one word long.

So the most recognisable bit of the song for me at the moment is the video clip. I know I watched it several times on YouTube in the past, but so far I haven't been able to find any combination of search terms that led me to it.

I heard a song a while back on NPR in between segments and didn't think to check their website until it was too late. It's a piano instrumental and sounds somewhat latin american. It starts with the piano and then a bell comes in after about 10 or 15 seconds. I don't know if there are words that come in later in the song or not, but the part I heard was instrumental only.

The bell isn't a cowbell or church bell but possibly some kind of triangle.

It's a pretty chill indie or something song and the music video is like a cardboard animation of dudes on a sub or boat or something and they're attacked by a mechanical squid or sea monster and the top of it opens up and they escape in a helicopter. And that's all I remember!
