My awful Persona opinion is I can't get really excited for P5 until I can play it on a portable device. P4:G and P3P ruined me for RPGs and I stand being shackled to a console for an 80+ hour game anymore.

There's also Part 4 of JoJo and Persona 4 having the same plot outline of "Japanese High Schoolers investigate serial killings in their town" but that's basically where the plot similarities stop. You can't really complain about Persona being inspired by JoJo when like 90% of Japanese media is inspired by JoJo.

jojo's has been around for like, what, 28 years? it's older than the internet. color tv had just been invented when jojo came around. many japanese game devs and mangaka pay respect to it as their inspiration. e: oh my god i was jokingly thinking "they'll have the TV and sign and that's it" and then that seriously was it.
