Is there a list of what icon means what reward? I know some of them are game/series related. Tried googling it but can't find much.

Are you referring to Crazy Orders?

When you click a character in the character select, look at the icon that appears behind them and that's what series they belong to. So basically if a ticket has a Triforce on it then it will be a reward for a Zelda series character (Link, Toon Link, Zelda, Sheik, Ganondorf).

What's the best/quickest way to unlock custom moves? Any tips on unlocking them?

In addition to the things that've been already been said, apparently All-Star prioritizes the character you're playing as since the moves come in bag form, and if you're terrible like me, you can still play it on Normal and still get 4 bags by the time you finish it.

As for Crazy Orders, if you have equipment that lets you start off with Homerun Bat and gives you a faster swing with it, using those is apparently a good way to hit a high number of tickets, although I haven't tried it out yet myself.

Highly doubtful. They'll still have old stock to sell through.

Will they still order it once it sells out? And won't they have to allot more space for wave 2 as well? I guess I could just call and ask tomorrow.

It depends on demand and how much they're already selling to begin with. Not to mention if my experience with working in receiving of retail stores has taught me anything it's that sometimes you will just get the poo poo if the publisher thinks there's demand for it.

Yeah. Ok I get that...I was wondering if there's a way to tell if it's a move vs equipment, but I guess not. What about the tickets with the Smash Bros icon? Music and non-series trophies or something?

Cool, good to know. I have the faster swing equipment but not the start with the bat equipment yet, I'll have to give that a shot when I get it.

Smash bros icon is usually hats & costumes for Miis. CDs are marked as CDs.

Oh I see. No you can't tell the difference between equipment and moves, but it's almost always equipment in my experience. The Smash icon is for Mii Fighter; CDs have their own icon and I'm pretty sure you don't get trophies as stage rewards in Crazy Orders.

This game has, bar none, the shittiest Classic mode in the series.
Master Coretress is the shittiest boss fight and biggest slog in any smash.
8 player matches don't belong in a mode where the computers only ever go after you.

Look on the bright side.

I wouldn't mind 8 player battles in Classic as much if they used the large stages for them. I don't think I've played on Great Cave Offensive, Palutena's Temple or Hyrule Temple even once in Classic.

This is pretty legit. I actually don't mind Master Core though (even at high intensity) but the fights are all kinda dumb. I just miss the more clear progression and the mix of challenges throughout. Also why did they get rid of the weird bonuses from 64/Melee? Trying to get the really tricky ones like Switzerland was a lot of fun.

Wii U Classic Mode is not as good as 3DS Classic Mode since just about every fight except the last two are based on either free-for-all or team battles. I'm also more in favor of 3DS's less bullshit challenges, Smash Run, and personalized experience in comparison to Wii U's Events and Crazy Orders.

I like Crazy Orders a lot, both as a single player randomized-fight challenge and as a loot dispenser.

But I don't like that Master Orders, Crazy Orders, and Classic are ALL randomized fights. I really wish Classic were more of a tailored experience, with a bank of specific series-themed fights to pull from.

I miss those too, it's not a big deal that they're gone, but I always liked seeing what I got after every match. Run, Don't Walk

I know it's a dumb metric that doesn't mean anything, but is there a reason why Lucina fell like 10 places in the Event Hubs tier list? One day a couple weeks ago she just barely edged out Marth around like 10th place, and the next she got knocked down several places all at once after the list had been pretty stable for a while. Marth fans mass downvoting maybe?

Yeah, because the Wii U is a home console with multiple potential players, whereas generally speaking only one person is going to be using a 3DS. I'd be annoyed if every time I booted Smash on Wii U I'd have to go in and clear out my housemate's selections and the like.
