That wasn't really Sara, it was a cyborg/clone/shapeshifter!

You know for all this talk about the Lazarus pit, it's real easy to forget that we already have a miracle drug in Oliver's super miracle cure-all herb from Lian Yu. Throughout the series that herb has: -Cured Oliver on the island from various poisons and injuries -Cured Slade's infected bullet wound -Cured Diggle's Curare-laced bullet wound -Cured Merlyn's Curare-laced bullet wound -Cured Sara from a lethal dose of League snake poison Pretty sure that thing is still going to be useful down the road. Anyway, here's a promo video for tomorrow (spoilers, obviously) Really liking how they're so into linking Flash and Arrow, as evidenced by one of Felicity's screens with the headline "STAR Labs Attacked by Yellow Blur"

That link between the two shows really helps flesh the universe out a bit. It's the same reason I like the MCU and Agents of Shield all tying into each other -- even when they're not hamhandedly cramming in references to each other it just feels like the world is bigger than where the camera happens to be looking.

Boy so good thing that whole "Torture is totally necessary sometimes" episode aired last week instead of this week. That would've been a tiny bit awkward.

I dunno, I thought the general takeaway from that was "it doesn't matter how effective torture is, it isn't worth the cost you take from yourself". Somehow I don't think season 5 Ollie is gonna be pincushioning people for info.

Well also last weeks torture led to completely unreliable information that was a trap and endangered his entire team.

imperialparadox posted:Aren't they always cutting scenes with Roy due to "time" and "pacing?" Kind of sucks though, you would think Ollie's relationship with his sidekick would be a major story element. Yeah pretty much every episode from the second half of last season had comments from the cast and crew saying "maaan we had some really cool Roy stuff but had to cut it in the edit"

I keep expecting him to just get punched in the face as he lands and afterwards Ollie asks how many times he's told him not to do that.

If Sara gets resurrected or revealed to be not-dead I think its fair to call her the Kenny McCormick of superhero TV.McSpanky posted:I dunno, I thought the general takeaway from that was "it doesn't matter how effective torture is, it isn't worth the cost you take from yourself".
