Nah, they aren't that bad. I think what I'm gonna do since these things blow in the winter anyway is just chuck 'em and get some new ones. I was thinking Hankooks, but I don't know for sure. They seem great for cost and reliability.

Seriously, this is really great sauce, it's going to be hard to ration it out. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the beer money! Also the character animations and the car look pretty bad too. The combat looks a lot better than previous games; I tried playing whatever the most recent non-MMO one was (XII?) and I swear it was just "press triangle to do the next thing" over and over.

It won't be long now until they get Swery65 to do a Final Fantasy game so he can crank out a story of two best friends embarking on a roadtrip. Across the American Midwest they will discover more about themselves and each other than they ever thought possible. Final Fantasy XVI: Oregon Trail

I love the questions I can ask (and the answers I can get) on AI. kastein posted:e: Some reluctor wheel patterns lend themselves to easy re-coding. For instance if it's just evenly-spaced, even-width pulses with one different width as the index pulse, and your source (the newer engine w/ reluctor wheel) has more pulses (preferably an even multiple of the number you need - for instance 58 and 29) you can just divide by two with a flip-flop and then add a little special logic with a PLL or microcontroller for the index pulse stretcher. If it's a wonky pattern it's going to involve more logic, basically. This makes a lot of sense - it's a lot easier to take a higher-resolution signal and produce a lower one, than to try and turn a lower-resolution signal into a higher one and do so accurately. According to some forum posts, though, Lingenfelter actually did make one that went the 'wrong' way around to connect 24x engines into 58x cars, but it never got past their internal prototypes. The thumbnail for this video shows both crank triggers next to each other: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtm5MbvLyuw It looks like the old 16-tooth wheel doesn't actually have anything to identify where TDC #1 is - obviously you'd need to measure it out to be sure, but it sure looks like four repeating patterns of one long tooth followed by three short teeth. The 32-tooth wheel looks like it can identify TDC #1 by figuring out if you're either on the long tooth, or the long gap between teeth.

My girlfriend is not very good at making turns. Generally, they're too sharp but sometimes they're too wide. She also has no idea where she's going even though she's driven around my town for years.

I recently let her drive the Miata after her owning her Insight for 3.5 years and not driving stick once in that time and she was driving it better than me within 10 minutes. It's really incredible how talented she is behind the wheel and I wish we'd capitalized on it like 10 years ago because she could seriously have become some manner of professional driver.
