it was even worse in the earlier versions. i tried it on my 2nd gen firewire ipod just for the hell of it. none of the buttons/wheel work the way you'd expect them to. they basically failed to implement the one defining feature of the platform properly

post your old mp3 players i had this one and it worked okay, i remember being on the bus and everyone being liek hey what cd are you listening to and im like dude this bitch has like 20 gb of space i got a bunch of cds and thye would cream their pants  also i used one of these for a long itme it was p good  my friend usedd to swear by rio mp3 paleyrs

I bought one of these when i lived in japan for like 200 dollars. I liked that it was small and did one thing. now I use some scan disk thing I can wear on a lanyard when i work out at the gym.

 I used one of these for maybe 6 years? mostly in the car with a cassette adapter. battery life was really good, touchpad was a bit finicky but not terrible. thankfully stebe saved me
