I shot some sweet portraits and a sweet living room with amazing light, I used some portra 800 for the job.

Turned out I had black and white 320 in the camera.

Had the opposite happen today, thought I was shooting Tri-X, turns out it was Ektar. I had just forgot to change the tag on the back of the camera and it was long enough ago that I wouldn't have been able to remember what it was anyway.

Not a big huge deal, just add a little dev time. Tri-X 400 didn't need much for a one stop push I bet 320 is pretty similar.

Yea and I've pushed it before with good results, but those shots were taken in the day. We'll see how these turn out.

Lovely stuff as always.
I just shot some Acros for the first time recently, and was wondering how to develop it. I don't think that my usual HC-110 developer I use on Tri-x would do it justice.

Mind telling my what you use and how? These tones are lovely.

I do all of my Acros in HC-110 dilution E for 7 minutes.

Yeah I think I used the standard formula for Acros, as what MBA used. I usually don't deviate unless I'm pushing or pulling film (which is very rare).

Rodinal is great on Acros too. Rodinal "intensifies grain" but Acros doesn't have any grain to start with so it just turns out super duper sharp. Depending on the dilution it can be high contrast or normal contrast.

I wasn't a big fan of Microdol-X with it, that was too low-contrast for my taste, but other than that I don't know too many things that DON'T work well with Acros. It's a miracle film.

No, I ended up sending it in to Robert Watkins at Precision Camera Works. Took a little over a month I think before it got back to me. You could always point the camera at something really far away and check to at least see if the rangefinder matches up at infinity though as a quick test. Mine wasn't even close to alignment when I first got it.

All looks good so far, infinity matches up. Anyway, most of the time I just use the distance scale on the lens, f/16 and be there.

I have a V750, and for a while I would do a low res "contact print" scan of the whole Printfile sleeve (so I'd have everything available digitally if I wanted some more context for the keepers, or to decide if I wanted to scan anything new), and only do full res scans of the negatives I intended to process/upload.

I don't really mind scanning everything though, as it gives me more time to be in PS doing corrections on the most recent batch, rather than being interrupted every few minutes to change negatives.
