Reminder that all of the original MLS teams had their names because Nike basically forced them upon them. DC United was the only holdout. Chicago Fire also refused Nike's insistence on a scorpion logo and "Chicago Rhythm" for the team name and Nike responded by throwing a hissyfit and refusing to make their original uniforms.
