GobiasIndustries posted:PFT's background laughs were off the chart in this episode, too. "of some sort!" Adomian's were better. Anyway, Len Wiseman is a fantastic character

GobiasIndustries posted:edit: it also looks like Paul Scheer was sitting in on the episode based on the photos the put up. Huh. Odd that he wouldn't at least make a cameo appearance. Looking through the photos, check out how much ACTING is happening with these two. Also, Fashion Chat: I think knit ties are an abomination, but PFT is wearing a good one and wearing it well.

Totally a C+ ep. Everyone was brilliant but I especially liked Adomian because for once he wasn't doing a hypersexual charac.

I hope they someday reveal the genesis behind the decision to base a character off someone so specific and relatively obscure. I have a feeling Scott took a meeting with him or maybe PFT was in a commercial directed by him... and he was such a on-a-different-level douchebag that they had to ridicule him on-air. Just looked it up and Len is stepfather to Kate Beckinsale's daughter who she had with Michael Sheen... who has been dating Sarah Silverman for a year or two. Maybe that's the connection?

Or maybe a guy who directs a five film series about werewolves - excuse me, Lycans - is inherently funny and in Paul F. Tompkin's wheelhouse. Please, call him Len.

The Underworld movie that came out in 03? 4? the first one maybe? was a formative experience for me, in terms of looking at kate beckinsale and being sexually aroused, and for that im eternally grateful to mr wiseman, and i dont appreciate the parody.

Am I the only one who thought that they hadn't agreed who Paul was being until they started recording and Scott panicked and said Len Wiseman? Because it really seems like that is what happened.
