Is it supposed to look like you're shooting with a plastic lens?

The 500px resized photo comes out like that for some reason. Happens to mine too. Sometimes with flickr too.

In my mind, you used to be the person that posted One Piece stuff, and occasionally some pictures. Now you're posting rad pictures left and right - you've really come a long way in the last year or so! (or maybe I'm just realizing it now)

Haha thanks a lot man! It's not something I expected too, and it's been quite an enriching experience, especially getting to see all the other great photographers in this forum.

Doubleposting for content. I took this just now and I really have no idea what to do with it. Sadly my camera and skills weren't up to capturing the crazyness of this particular sunset. What should I do with this processing-wise? Can anything be done? I'm irrationally attached to this crappy picture.

oh, my, god. Becky, look at her bitrate.
Toss it.

The less of an emotional bond you have to your images, the better your pictures will be.

Think less "I like this picture because I took it at my sister's wedding" and think more "the composition of this picture blah blah blah colors and rule of thirds and whatever"
