People tend to freak out over losing virtual items in a video game.

Some guy lost his poo poo over voice chat on a server a few weeks back when he joined and realized his entire BP was cleared out. I asked him if he clicked any bogus links and he said yes at which point the entire server called him an idiot in one way or another.

I'd be surprised if they had any other days before Christmas that they could release the update. I figured they would have gone on holiday already and the update would have been out last Friday.

I have fun avoiding mans and collecting ducks - I see so many people run past ducks that are RIGHT THERE and I just run after them and pick them up. I got to Duck Level 1 last night, and spent exactly $0.00 during this update.

I wish the ducks stay in the game forever.

I just wish the duck journal didn't have such a long time between sounds.

I wonder how high the journal goes –mine is at 19 and i'm halfway to 20.As stupid as it sounds it's definitely been what has been contributing to the lots of TF2 I have been playing the last couple of weeks.

The journal only goes to 20. Or at least, it only has titles for levels 0 through 20. So once you get there let us all know.

I like the ducks because while other players are collecting them, I'm getting closer to the next capture, or to a health pack, or to safety, or to their backs. It's like I have 90 seconds of game-time for every 85 of theirs, which adds up.

Kinda thought the ducks were the holiday update. It'd be nice if they did something to make collecting them worth anything, but I'm not expecting a real update.

Stickybombs that detonate in the air now have a radius ramp up, starting at 85% at base arm time (0.8s) going back to 100% over 2 seconds. Stickies that touch the world will have full radius.
Stickybombs now have a more visible trail while traveling through the air
Stickybombs arm particle is slightly more visible

Loose Cannon

Double donk explosive damage now deal full radius damage to victims. Previously double donk explosive damage was reduced by radius distance from the explosion.
Removed a hidden penalty where Cannonballs that touched the world would deal 50% less damage in addition to regular grenade damage reduction on world touch.

As much as I love the Loch, I always thought being able to insta-kill 125-health classes no effort was incredibly cheap.

It seems pretty pointless to me now, to be honest. The main draw was loving up scouts and it can't do that any more. And besides, 3 pills clearly can't fit in the weapon, it's only got two barrels.

Panic Attack sounds pretty fun. Those demo nerfs hurt but are completely reasonable, and I like the readjustment of his melee weapons. If I'm reading it right, Tide Turner + Claidheamh More
will still restore your bar to full on a kill. The new Scottsman Cutter will be awesome too.
