I got a new shotgun out of my free sock and not only is it bad but its the second shotgun with an extended magazine tube that holds fewer shells than the stock shotgun. Why does this thing have a drum magazine and I'm feeding four shells at a time into it to fire it? Come on Valve.

The drum is an elaborate mechanism that removes the shot from the shells, tumbles them around, and then fires them off. This is why it has a wider, inaccurate spread.

It's a shame they went and nerfed values as well. Midrange stickies can hurt a lot or a little. When you find yourself in a demo's optimal range, the amount of damage you take depends on how you move to dodge and how well the demo predicts. I think most of the complaining about airdet stickies has been because your everyday joe player doesn't pay attention to the stickies being fired at them like they would a rocket. A more defined silhouette is a really good change for stickies.

So I cracked open my stocking for this this year. What a gyp. The usual giftpult, Mann up ticket, name and desc tags and a welcome backpack extender. What's my random items? A Cleaner's Carbine, a Natascha, and a Connivers Kunai. Not even festives. No festive hat or misc either. Basically my bonus loot was 1.5 scrap. I know I'm bitching about something I got for free, but it really does seem cheap of Valve not to at least let me roll one item from the festive update. To make things worse, I'm a terrible Sniper, a godawful Spy, and at best a mediocre Heavy who sticks with the stock minigun anyway. It just feels like a bit of a kick in the balls, y'know?
Yeah I got something similar. Not sure why they didn't put at least one random Holiday item in there.

Best part about grappling, from what I've experienced.

Go Backburner Pyro. Find a doorway that the enemy keeps coming through. Grapple yourself *and don't let go* directly above the doorway. As enemies come out, they completely ignore you 2 feet above their heads, allowing you to drop down and get your sweet sweet back crits, and immediately grapple above the doorway again preparing for your next foe.

I played TF2 for 6 hours in a row last night. I haven't done that since MVM first came out.

They really don't care about weapons looking like they're supposed to. See; the Loch-n-Load's new clip size.

Also, the shotgun was originally supposed to be the Raiding Aid, and they forgot to change its kill icon to the new model. The stats make a lot more sense with that model.

Add a new shotgun, make the new one use the current Panic Attack model, then give the Panic Attack the Raiding Aid model.

It already happened with a hat, it can be done again.

Grapple CTF makes me very happy. Good memories of Threewave CTF and Quake 2 CTF. Wonder if Zoid had anything to do with the gamemode.

Kind of a shame that you can't use your weapon while on the grapple, but I'm not sure how that would affect balance.

My favorite part of super fast grapple hook mode is when you have the intel and have to wait 5 minutes for your team to kill the person with your intel so you can actually cap it. Except they never do, and after several minutes of nothing happening a vampire scout or something gets the drop on you and you die and they cap instead.
