Yeah I do have a few Salem GIFs here, I might try sticking with not just Salem, but Black Cats in general or something, I'll think on it. Maybe I will splice in a frame or two of my cat filing nails and put it into the error GIF as quick flashes.

ways to reduce gif file size: 1. reduce the dimensions 2. remove frames 3. decrease the number of colors (dithering can be used to smooth it out and imitate the missing colors) 4. stabilize the background - the gif redraws each frame from the top left so if the bottom right pixel changes, it has to redraw the whole frame. if you keep that pixel the same between frames you can reduce the file size by a lot in the "Save to Web" dialog box in Photoshop, there is an option to optimize a gif to a certain file size. you can find the option here:  you tell it what size you want it optimized to and it will try and get the best result under that target by messing with the colors and other options
