Normally I'd post some terrible poo poo, but since this is the first Sunday School of the year, and end of the holiday season, I figure I'd post some of my favorite from the edits I did in 2014.

1
I'm entirely self-taught on Photoshop, which is another way of saying "I'm bad at Photoshop." so I was really happy to pull off the transition here. Yes, I know it's easy. Shut up.

2
As most people know, I enjoy putting small jokes in stuff, like the Pants Donkey on the Rubix Cube or DEBT written on the windshield.

3
Oh Rall.

4
My homage to Day by Penis, and where I discovered that combining DbD and Homestuck is an easy way to get the thread to hate you.

5
I've lost count of how many times Ramirez has drawn Obama naked.

6
I think everyone knows this one. The day after I made this I realized I could have used the line "Remember me, Zeddie?" as a better fit. drat it.

7
Muir claimed he took like nine hours to make his comics, so I tried making one. It took me thirty minutes, and as a bonus(?) nobody ever figured out it wasn't a real DbD.

8
Sometimes it's the little things.

9
I had this idea right when panic about ebola first broke out, and I just waiting for the perfect set of headlines. Thanks Drudge!

10
Kelly edits are a weakness of mine because I have a JRROSE!-like affinity for puns. This might be my favorite of the many I did this year.

11
One of the weirdest things I've done, and a bout of insomnia was to blame.

12
I'm still fairly happy with how this turned out :3:

13
Way way too many Pants Donkey edits this year, but these two are my favorites for 2014

14
Our fickle nature is always fun to comment on. Of course, Latuff and Bennett are both awesome :colbert:

15
The "Hacky" parody is probably my favorite of the (too many) song parodies I did this year.

Alright, that's it for this week. Next week we're back to the standard crap.

Still really shocked he didn't just post a racist comic about black people always fighting because if you watch how the fights started
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSzARapTUO4
You'd think that would just trigger Bish's desire to draw black people as chimps

Its kind of sad how similar this fight was to fights I'd see in my high school (though like this incident, it didn't happen every day)

e: Wow, that first one is as AGC as it gets.

My recollection is that the whole "low information" thing started when a study came out showing that Fox News viewers were generally less well informed about current events. Rush and others seized on the phrase as a form of "NO U" and now it's their term for people who aren't sufficiently fired up over the latest derp.

A lot of republicans thought Romney was a shoe-in to win, because Obama was just so self-evidently terrible with the socialism and his personal murdering of the people at Benghazi. Then Obama won and they needed an excuse for losing what was supposed to be a sure thing, so they blamed it on Americans being stupid.

Fast forward two years, and now they're outraged when someone else calls Americans stupid.

The best part about the "Fox viewers don't know poo poo" is that they included Daily Show/Colbert Report viewers in that poll. So people who get their news from a pair of comedians were better informed than alleged actual news.

It is quite impressive that making jokes about real events puts less of a spin than your average Fox News report.

You just don't quite understand the realities of global strategy like Micheal Ramirez.

Republican did thing? Thing is good.

Democrat did thing? Thing is bad.

Ending the embargo with Cuba is seen as one of the smartest US foreign policy decisions in ad ecade, but thanks to Ramirez, we know Thing is actually Bad.

Sometimes I wonder if the push for Jeb Bush is just so the RNC can poison the well for Hillary by making the conversation "American shouldn't just have two families in charge!" Unfortunately, I feel like a lot of people are going to fall for it. I could even see a splinter candidate on the left screwing things up and putting the GOP in the white house. 2016 is going to have a lot of young voters who don't remember that Ralph Nader has the blood of thousands of Iraqis on his hands).

Wow, now that's what I call art. They really stand on their own, no explanation needed.

The Age is a big paper, so it does have other, not-as-lovely-at-drawing cartoonists. It also has a cartoonist who has terrible opinions. But for now, bask in the glory of Petty's high-effort work.

Going back to this, I was tempted to compare his style to of John Callahan's, but then I realized that's unfair, because Callahan was quadriplegic.
