I did almost exactly nothing for three weeks. And now I'm back in the office, to continue doing basically nothing. I'm hoping the company who's interested in giving me pretty much my dream job get's their act together. Until then, it's time to buff up the old resume and see what else is out there.

Reallyyy wish my ISP would get their loving poo poo together. $60/month for 20 Megabit / 2 Megabyte / whatever the gently caress you want to call it down, and it's so loving spotty and prone to cutting out at random that it's gone past the point of absurd and is now into full on "Why are we even giving you people money" territory.

So me and my wife's family were supposed to go to Hawaii in May if we were able to use their uncles time share so that way we would be able to afford rooming 8 people; turns out the uncle was planning on using it this summer, which is kind of a bummer. Anyways, I'm trying to find somewhere beachy that isn't Florida or somewhere down south since her family has never been out west or in the Caribbean. They want to go see SanFran but I think going out west will end up being way more expensive than the Caribbean since well need a car that fits 8 people and also afaik SV/SF are chilly rainy shitholes in the spring. Also lodging seems to be more expensive than the Bahamas (~$200/night/room in SF vs $160 in Bahamas) Anyone have any good ideas of fun places to go in May?

Thoughts from the masses? I'm as rabid an LS fanboy as anyone on here, so don't take this as a "nay" vote, but: How complete is the motor? Things like accessories, intake manifold, wiring, ECU can really add up. If it's a bare longblock that price seems a bit high; maybe do a little bit of research to see if you can get a complete (still-in-the-truck, as someone above mentioned) motor that still has all that stuff. If it does have all that, then hell yes!

It's snowing hard enough that the plow trucks can't keep up. So there's plenty of fresh snow on the roads and most people are hiding in their homes like it's the end of the world. Perfect time to handbrake funsies around every corner. Winter tires are probably the best purchase I've ever made. Aside from that whole safety thing they make nights like tonight so drat fun.

Sorry, I haven't kept up on these threads because I've been very busy. I need your guy's help though. I don't use eBay much; this is the first time I've ever had a problem. "Am sorry i checking before i send you mirror its very good condition maybe when you installed damage the mirror sorry not returns accepted sorry for inconvenience" The only protection was those two sheets of newspaper you can kinda see. What's the best way to get my money back? edit: Doesn't help that USPS randomly sent it to Florida, when it was coming from San Diego and going to Seattle :P
