Blistered Thumbs was loving terrible and way too many people I know with opinions I otherwise respect/tolerate wouldn't stop spamming my feeds with links to it. So it was pretty much the Cyanide & Happiness of video game news sites. I think they were connected to Spoony and his people so it's no surprise that it was awful.

i like vinny a lot. his voice is good and he is down to earth and nice to everyone. Same with dan. i feel bad for them and their good opinions about fun when someone else on the show is rude and dismissive of them and/or nintendo.

They're SUPER into stuff that I have less interest in, but I like listening to them talk about it and maybe hear about new stuff. Their subject matter is a little closer to 8-4 Play but with fighting games added in. I wanted to like 8-4 Play but I find it to be boring/annoying most of the time. As much as Patrick or Brad get poo poo on at various times by various people, neither of them call themselves "Gaming Jesus" as a loving nickname like Mark Macdonald from 8-4 (seriously what a tool).
